Yes, Alone in the Park is coming to platforms that are probably far more suitable for playing the game than in a web browser. The game is in beta, and will probably make an appearance over the next month or two on the app store.

The bird quest in my little game is a puzzle that seems to be giving people a bit of grief. So here’s a hint: it involves a well-timed attempt at finding a hidden location.

I had trouble trying to describe my game. I settled on this:

Alone in the Park is a hybrid text/graphic adventure. In a few hours of gameplay you will encounter the worst that 21st century humanity has to offer (they may not be violent but they are extremely annoying) and with any luck you will complete loads of quests and find the treasure hidden somewhere in the park.

I don’t really know how others would describe it. I can report, however, that friends have described my description as “laconic”, “uninviting”, and “lacking in pizazz”.
